A beautiful young lady just walked past us in a knee-length pleated skirt, a little too far above the knee if you ask me, but hey! No one asked me. Anyway, her hair was held up in a ponytail, swinging from left to right as she hurried down the hill. Her white long-sleeved shirt was neatly ironed and tucked into her gray skirt, with her coat hanging on her left arm. All the ladies had similar black shoes with branded white socks with the NSI logo subtly embellished on the socks and jackets. Some students looked happy; others looked confused, but most of them seemed to know why they were here. They looked like little ladies on a mission. The thought of it made me giggle. But on second thought, if they knew why they were here, could I confidently state why I was? I knew without an iota of doubt that I was going to fall among the confused crowd. Because who was I deceiving? Even the seemingly confused ones looked like their confusion came from overthinking, whereas I didn’t even have my thoughts in order.
